Editing your homepage

Your homepage is the first page that comes up when you go to your website
eg. http://jessefiddler.myknet.org

In order to have your homepage to show up automatically when you go to your site or any directory in your site, you need to have your homepage called index.html or index.htm . If there is no index page then it displays a list of the files and folders in your website. So for people to view your website properly make sure that you have an index.html file. You can do this one of two ways:

1. Use the Homepage editor
When you use the homepage editor, it automatically creates and overwrites the previous index.html file on your account. If you have both an index.html and an index.htm file on your account, the index.html that the Homepage editor makes takes precedence.
